Md. Kamal Uddin
Professor, Department of Psychology, University of Dhaka
Topic: Bridging Science and Society: Advancing Psychometrics for Human Development and Social Justice

Professor Dr. Md. Kamal Uddin (PhD, Kyushu University, Japan) is a distinguished academic at the Department of Psychology, University of Dhaka. With over 90 publications, he has significantly advanced psychometrics, interpersonal relations, and school psychology in Bangladesh. As former Department Chair (2021–2024) and Founding President of national psychological societies, he led major curriculum reforms, research capacity-building, and policy initiatives. He teaches research methodology from undergraduate to PhD levels and supervises numerous theses. A sought-after keynote speaker, his preferred topic is “Bridging Science and Society: Advancing Psychometrics for Human Development and Social Justice.”
